The construction of 10 new social homes at Chapel Lane, Cootehill has been approved by the Department of Housing. This housing development will consist of one, two and three bed houses and will be a welcome addition to the Council housing stock in Cootehill.
According to Cavan/Monaghan TD Brendan Smith, this is yet another "welcome development" for Co Cavan and is a substantial financial investment by government.
He added that Housing Minister, Darragh O’Brien TD, is providing a record level of funding for the construction of houses which is essential in meeting increasing demands.
