A Monaghan woman who was born in the Castlepollard Mother and Baby Home has warned the country is continuing to make the same mistakes of the past.
Kathleen Tuite grew up in Magheracloone after she was adopted at the age of three.
The Taoiseach today apologised to the victims and survivors of Mother and Baby Homes.
But Kathleen says the apology means nothing to her as she doesn't feel it was coming "from someone's heart".
