Camphill Community Ballybay is a small, land-based community located on the outskirts of Ballybay town. It consists of five houses and additional buildings, creating the atmosphere of a cozy rural village.

As a life-sharing community; Camphill Ballybay is home to 15 adults with intellectual disabilities each with unique levels of support needs. Care is provided by a dedicated team of Social Care Workers, Social Care Assistants and a passionate group of international young volunteers.

At Camphill Ballybay we offer 24-hour residential services; seven days a week. We encourage Residents to participate in a wide range of cultural activities. The community itself is a lively blend of organic farm animals; cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, and goats—as well as vegetable and herb gardens. The workshops here range from farming and gardening as well as candle-making and weaving. This makes Camphill Ballybay a peaceful haven for those who wish to connect with their hands and hearts as well as acquiring new skills. The emphasis is on sustainable living. We also use the produce we grow directly on-site. Music and creativity are both integral to daily life and we value both highly.

Ballybay Community is much more than just a workplace. We are deeply committed to providing therapies and support for those who need them. We work together as a team, much like a household, which creates wonderful opportunities to connect with and live alongside a diverse group of people. This collaborative approach helps us build a true sense of home. Well integrated into the local community; we warmly invite everyone to join us for open days and celebrations.
