Tom (Thomas, Tommy) Gaffney
Rocklands, Cavan and formerly of Butlersbridge, Cavan and Dublin.
Tommy Gaffney died on Monday, April 29th, peacefully in the care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his parents; Pat and Mary Gaffney (Butlersbridge, Cavan).
Tommy's passion was all things mathematical, and he worked most of his career as a Lecturer in Mathematics and Statistics in the school of Mathematical Sciences, DIT, Kevin St. (now TU Dublin City Campus)
Tommy will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers; John (Roscommon), Paddy (Butlersbridge), Martin (Cavan), sisters in law, his nieces and nephews, Oonagh, Padraic, Liam, Mary, Kevin, Jennifer, David, Justin, Eamon and Martin, great nephews, and great nieces and all his extended family. Greatly missed and fondly remembered by his fantastic circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan tomorrow (Wed) from 4.00pm with Funeral Service at 6.00pm, followed by Cremation
