Sr. Juliana (Mary) O’Donoghue
The Sacred Heart Convent, Ballybay and formerly of Aubane, Millstreet, Co. Cork, who worked as a missionary in the diocese of Tzaneen, Limpopo, South Africa for 30 years.
Sr. Juliana (Mary) O’Donoghue died on Tuesday, February 12th, peacefully in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of St. Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan.
Predeceased by her parents Humphrey and Mary, sister Eily (Twomey) and brother Humphrey.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her family, brothers; John-Joe and Maurice, sisters in-law; Ann and Gertie Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews extended family, and her religious community, Daughters Of Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart Convent and her many friends.
Sr. Juliana (Mary) will repose at the Convent Chapel, Ballybay (A75F243) on Friday afternoon from 3pm until removal at 6:40pm (driving) to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church Ballybay for reception prayers at 7pm.
Sr. Juliana’s (Mary) funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Please note at the request of the O’Donoghue family a memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church Millstreet, Co.Cork at a later date.
