Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and under the wonderful care of the staff on medical two.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Nuala, parents Paddy and Delia, sisters; Susie, Eileen and Bridie and brother Bartley, deceased members of the Kiernan and Smith families. Deeply regretted by his daughters; Helen and Breda, sons in law; Tommy and Michael and adored grandchildren; Patrick, Shane, Aoife and Niamh, his sisters; Kitty and Nancy, brothers; Seamus and Mattie, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Briody’s Funeral Home, Kilnaleck (A82DX59) tomorrow evening, Monday the 17th of June, from 5pm to 8pm and resting at his residence on Sunday evening from 8pm.
Funeral mass on Tuesday the 18th at St. Joseph’s Church, Ballyjamesduff at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the new Cemetery.
