Patrick (Pat) McElroy passed away on Friday, October 18th. Peacefully surrounded by his adored family in the wonderful care of the staff in Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his grandson Padraig-Eugene, his brother Michael-John in infancy and his sisters Eilish Flynn and Marie Murray.

Forever loved and cherished by his wife Joan, daughter Deirdre (Tery), sons Declan (Eleanor), Tomas (Bernie), Finbar (Agnes) and Enda (Joselia). Always remembered by his cherished grandchildren, brothers Tom and Francie (Bridget(), sister Margaret Murray, nieces, nephews, relatibes, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Clerkins Funeral Home on Saturday (19th) from 4pm until 7pm and Sunday (20th) from 4pm until 7pm. Patrick's funeral procession will leave his home on Monday morning at 11:30am to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Magherarney for Funeral Mass at 12noon.

I knew Pat for as far back as I can remember. I am so sad that he has passed and want to extend my sympathies to Joan, Declan, Finbar, Enda, Tom, Deirdre and all the extended family.
