Padraig McCooey died on Sunday, 22nd September, peacefully at home, in the loving care of his family.

Loving husband to Geraldine and father to Andria (Paul), Claire, Niall (Julie) and Conor. Grandfather  to Sophia, Joel and Clara.

Reposing at his home on Monday and Tuesday from 3.00pm to 9.00pm. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.15am to arrive at St. Laobhain Church, Killeevan for 11.00am funeral Mass.

Refreshments in the Acorn Centre, Newbliss immediately afterwards.

Private Cremation service will be held at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 4.45pm.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Geraldine, daughters; Andria and Claire, sons; Niall and Conor, son-in-law Paul, daughter-in-law Julie, grandchildren and entire family circle.

House private on Wednesday morning to family and friends only. Donations in lieu of flowers to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative care C/o Paul Mohan Funeral Director.
