Cootehill, Co. Cavan, and originally from Fanad, Co. Donegal.

Mona Hoban (nee McMenamin) died Peacefully, at St James’s Hospital, surrounded by her children, Jenny, Gerry and Moira.

Much loved mother. She will be sadly missed by her grandson Conor, sisters; Frances, Ann, Noreen and Joan, brother Michael, sisters-in-law; Ilene and Fin and brothers-in-law; Pat and Rory, daughter-in-law Helen; nieces, nephews and many friends.

Thanks to the staff of Gascoigne Nursing Home, Saint James’s Hospital and the Darley Medical Centre for their care. Special thanks and gratitude to her neighbours and friends in Cootehill for their constant kindness.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, 4-6pm Sunday June 23rd; Service at Lakelands Crematorium, 12 noon Monday, June 24th, followed by cremation.

No flowers, please. Donations to Saint Vincent de Paul, if desired
