Monday 5th August, 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family after an illness bravely borne.

Mickey will be forever remembered by his heartbroken wife Margaret and family. Shane, Michelle McHugh (Lyndon), Chrisdina Nixon, Michael, Eugene and Jonathan Finnegan. Sisters Sr Camilla (presentation sisters), Mary (U.S.A). Adored grandchildren, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews,cousins and many friends and neighbours.

House strictly private at all times please.

Removal from his residence on Tuesday to arrive at St. Mary's Church, Carrigallen, for Funeral mass at 3 pm followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

May he rest in peace

Donations in lieu of flowers to Irish cancer society c/o McGuckian Funeral Directors or any family member. The family wish to thank the night nurse and palliative care team for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Mickey.
