May O’Connor (née Rudden) died on Sunday, July 21st, 2024; peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the devoted care of the staff at the Sacred Heart Care Home, Roscommon.
Beloved wife of the late Jerry, dear mother of the recently deceased Jeremy and mother-in-law of the recently deceased Sean.
She will be very sadly missed by her loving daughters; Betty Hanley and Eileen Hughes, son Bernard, sister Kathleen Campbell (Longford), son-in-law Garry, daughters-in-law; Mary and Cora, her 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, nieces; Caitriona and Annemarie, nephew Larry, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon on Tuesday evening from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Mass of the Resurrection in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague on Wednesday at 12 o’clock. Burial afterwards in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
The O’Connor family would sincerely like to thank the staff at the Sacred Heart Care Home for their wonderful care of May during her time there. They would also like to thank their relatives and friends for their kindness at this time.
