Mary Bridget (Bridgie) Higgins passed away on Friday, August 9th, with family members by her side.
Daugher of the late Peter and Mary Ann McElearney (nee Monaghan) and wife of the late Eddie Higgins.
Predeceased also by her son Joseph, brother James McElearney and sister Kathleen Mc Dermott.
Survived by her Children; Kevin, Brendan (Kristina), Renee Murray (John), Eamon (Mary), Paul, and Beth Higgins-Courtney (Mary). Deeply regretted by her daugher in law Aleta (widow of her son Joseph). Sadly missed by her grandchildren; Aidan, Sarah, Rebekka, Declan, Kian, Joseph, Neave, Hannah and Amelia. Remembered by her sister Alice Byrne and brother Peter Mc Elaearney, nieces and nephews and cousins in Ireland, England and the US.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday from four o’clock until eight o’clock. Funeral mass will be held at half past eleven on Saturday morning in St. Joseph’s Novitiate. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of contributions to St. Joseph’s Noviate Building Fund.
