Maria Douglas (nee Rooney) died on Sunday, 30th June 2024, peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her loving son Jeffrey, parents; Patrick and Mary Rooney, her sister Ann (Mc Kiernan) and her brothers; Liam and Michael.
Beloved wife of John and much loved Mother of Jenny (Liam McGovern), sons; Kieth (Elaine), Jonathan and Simon (Lorraine). Maria will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband, daughter, sons, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren; Cliona, Janelle, Erica, Nathan, Tyra, Raema, Sienna, Myla, Donnacha and Ultan, brother Dermot, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, many friends and by all who knew and loved Maria.
Maria will repose at the family home, 22 Liosaghoirtin, Clones (H23 DX74), Co. Monaghan, Monday afternoon from 2pm to 9pm and again Tuesday afternoon, from 2pm to 9pm, (family time at all other times, Please, including Wednesday Morning) with removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to the Sacred Heart Church, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to Alzheimer Society of Ireland (Clones Branch) c/o any family member or by donation box in the house.
