Laurence (Larry) Smith died on Wednesday, September 4th 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Sadie and daughter Sharon. Sadly missed by his sisters; Sharon and Phyllis and brother Patsy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Matthew’s Funeral Home, Virginia, tomorrow Thursday from 6pm – 7.30pm. Removal on Friday to arrive at St. Dympna’s Church, Lower Lavey for Funeral Mass at 12noon (travelling via Lavey Strand and Stradone Village), followed by cremation in Lakeland’s Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.  No flowers please.
