Kathleen Leathem (nee Gilligan) died on Wednesday ,August, 21st 2024, peacefully at her home and in the loving care of her devoted husband and best friend, Seamus and their family.
Kathleen is predeceased by her parents Patrick and Margaret, sisters; Mary, Ellie, Margaret, brothers; Paddy Jimmy, Marty, Andy and Thomas. Kathleen will be very sadly missed by her husband Seamus and her loving family, Patricia, Geraldine and Raymond, sons in law; Denis and Stephen and Raymonds partner Caroline, her sister Nancy, her adored grandchildren; Caitríona, Caoimhe, Eoghan, Hazel, Leah, Adam, Jamie and Keira, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her relatives, caring neighbours and many friends.
Kathleen will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road on Thursday evening from 6pm concluding with prayers at 8pm. Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Drumcor arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Following Mass, burial will take place in the family plot in the adjoining cemetery.
No flowers please, donations in lieu would be appreciated by the family to Palliative care, Cavan, by donation box in the Funeral Home, any family member or McMahon Funeral Directors, Farnham Road, Cavan Town.
