John Shannon passed away on Friday November 8th 2024, peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Philip and Bridget and his brothers Ambrose, Packie, Oliver and TP.

John will be very sadly missed by his loving family, his wife Margaret and his children Mark, Lorraine, Orla and John. Also by his adored grandchildren, sister, Maura Webber (USA), sons in law Killian and Keith, daughter in law Lyndsey, sisters in law Mary and Veronica, nephews, nieces, all his extended family and many good friends. May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12C821) on Saturday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 12.30pm in St. Aidan's Church, Butlersbridge followed by burial in St. Aidan's Cemetery.

John's Funeral Mass will be available to view live and a link will be posted here in due course.
