Joey Smith died on Monday, 16th December peacefully, in the exceptional care of all the staff at the Blackrock Hospice, Dublin.
Youngest son of the late Joe & Sinéad Smith and dear brother of the late Mary (Swan) & Noel.
Joey will be forever missed by his loving wife Mary and his beloved family; Adrian, Claire (Donnacha) & Aoife, his precious grandchildren; Alfie, Sophie & Joe (Murphy), his brothers; John (Evelyn), Hugh (Patricia), Jim (Róisín) & Cyril (Veronica), all in the extended Smith, Swan & Banks family circles, great neighbours, his many close friends and all who enjoyed his wonderful company.
Joey will repose at the family Funeral Home in High St. Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim N41 TD 62 this Thursday evening from 4.30pm until 8pm. (please note - no access before 4.30pm). Removal from his home on Friday morning to arrive at St Patrick’s Church, Ballinamore for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Oughteragh cemetery, Ballinamore.
