James (Jim) McEnroe
Kilnacor, Crosskeys, Co. Cavan.
Friday, 27th December 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of the late Bridie and a dear father to Bernadine, Catherine, Barry (Eimear), Paschal, Majella, Éamonn and Clare (Padraig). Sadly missed by his grandchildren; James (Ffion), Daniel, Kevin, Liam, Maeve, Ailbhe, Niamh, Sarah, Áine. Greatgrandchild Connie, and cousin Evelyn Mc Govern, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Predeceased by his son in law Luke and daughter in law Cathy, his parents; Bartle and Rose McEnroe, brothers; Batty (Bartle) and Benny and sisters; Elsie and Madge.
Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan (H12 RF78) on Saturday 28th December from 5:30pm – 7:30pm. Funeral to arrive at St. Matthew’s Church, Crosskeys (H12 FX68) on Sunday 29th December 2024 for funeral mass at 2:00pm. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

The McEnroe family would like to acknowledge the care and comfort afforded to Jim by the doctors, nurses and staff at College View Nursing Home, Cavan and the staff at Cavan General Hospital for making Jim comfortable over his last few days.
