Monday 23rd December 2024, peacefully in Cavan General Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents, brother and sisters. Survived by his nieces Margaret Curran, Killeshandra and Patricia McKeown (New York), nephews Patrick McKeown (New Zealand), John McKeown (Dublin). Grand-nieces Sarah, Roisin and Blaithin, grand-nephew Gearoid and extended family.

Hughie will be reposing at his residence on Thursday 26th December from 5pm. Remains will arrive for Funeral mass on Friday 27th December at 11am in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
