Tuesday, the 2nd of July peacefully in the tender care of his family and staff of the Drumbear Lodge Nursing Home Monaghan.

Lovingly remembered by his wife Alice and family in England, Claire, Tyrone and his wide circle of friends.

Hugh will repose in E.C. Hughes funeral home, Middletown on Tuesday the 2nd and Wednesday the 3rd of July evening from 3pm to 7pm, until removal at 7.15pm Wednesday to St Mary’s Church Glennan Glaslough for 8pm prayers and overnight reprisal.  Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am and burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
