Hugh Donohoe died on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness, surrounded by his loving family.
Deeply regretted by his heartbroken wife and best friend Brigid, his children; Kevin (Monica), Mary (Adrian) and Mark (Michelle), his adoring grandchildren; Oisín, Fionn, Senan, Laoise, Éabha, Aoife, Shane and Rían. Lovingly remembered by his sisters; Noleen and Susan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow Wednesday from 5.30pm - 7.30pm until removal to St. Dympna's Church, Lower Lavey (via Drumhilla) arriving at 8.30pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday at 12noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cavan Palliative Care, in care of PJ Brady, Funeral Director. House private please.
