Oakview nursing home, Belturbet and formerly of Oriel Lodge, Belturbet, and also Lisnamaine (Lanagans Well), Belturbet, Co. Cavan,

Gerry O’Reilly died on Wednesday, 31st July 2024, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Mary Kate and John, brothers Patrick, Edward and Kevin, sister Maura.  Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his brother Brendan (Clones) nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Gerry’s remains will be reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet (H14 R583) on Thursday evening at 6pm until evening prayers at 7.30pm. Remains will arrive at St Mary’s Church, Staghall, Belturbet Friday morning for 11 o’clock funeral mass with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

If you cannot attend the funeral or sympathise with the family, you can now leave your messages of condolences and memories on this page.  We hold comments for moderation. We have fond memories of uncle Gerry growing up in Scotland every July for two weeks going over to lisnamaine to stay with the family at farm keeping in touch with him ever since we were young recently in the nursing home belturbet Rest In Peace Gerry lots of love philip.John , Bernadette, Mary Veronica Brenda x
