Gerry McKenna (Doogan) passed away on Monday, 8th July, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Kevin & Annie McKenna and sisters; Pauline & Rosetta.

Sadly missed and fondly remembered by his children; Ronan (Dervla), Declan (Nuala), Edel (Niall), Martin (Claire) & Bronagh, his grandchildren and brothers and sisters Mary, Patsy, Seamus, Kevin, Liam & Siobhan.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Gerry’s remains will repose at his home at Dernalussett, H18 DK15 from 7pm this evening Monday. Family and friends only on Wednesday morning please. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 Noon at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Cavan/Monaghan Palliative Care c/o Peter McMahon, McMahons Funeral Home, Emyvale or any family member.
