Gerard Hughes died on Sunday, 16th February 2025 peacefully in Newry Hospice.

Dearly beloved husband of Bernie and devoted father to Anthony(Brenda), Damian, Pamela(Mark), Caroline and Lorraine(Jamie). Cherished brother of the late Kathleen and father in law of the late Alan RIP

His remains will repose at his late residence 10 Riverdale Park Madden (BT60 3NH) from today (Sunday) arriving approx 5:30pm  until removal on Tuesday to arrive at St Joseph's Church Madden for 11am Requiem Mass.Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife, sons, daughters,  grandchildren; Caoimhe, Sean, Ciaran, Orlagh, Jack Joseph, Grace, Jamie, Emma and Lucie.Brothers; Michael, David and Francie, sister Margaret, nieces, nephews and the entire Hughes and Haffey families.On his soul sweet Jesus have mercy.

Wake open to visitors without restriction but family request privacy to family, friends and neighbours on Tuesday morning please.Family flowers only donations in lieu to Southern Area Hospice Service (S.A.H S) c/o any family member or Mone funeral Directors, 22a Lower Clea Rd, Keady, Co Armagh BT60 3HR
