Elizabeth Maud (Betty) Soden (nee Lockington)
Corrinary, Drum, Co Monaghan.
Monday, 17th of February, peacefully in the care of the staff of Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Herbert Soden and her sister Susan Duffy.
Betty will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her loving family; Maureen (Trevor Windrum), Ronald (Betty), Hilary (Hugh Speares), Lorna (David Armstrong), Leslie (Daphne). Adored grandmother to her 15 grandchildren; Lois, Sharon, Naomi, Daniel (Naomi), Karen, Steven, Aaron, Tara, Philip, Alan, Ben, Eva, Amy, Paul and Thomas. Sister Evelyn (Joey Chiarito) USA, brother-in-law John Duffy, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
Resting at the home of her son Leslie and daughter-in-law Daphne (H16P206) Tuesday the 18th of February from 5pm until 9pm and on Wednesday the 19th of February from 3pm until 9pm. House strictly private to family on the morning of the funeral please.
Funeral cortege will leave on Thursday the 20th of February at 1:30pm, to arrive at Drum Presbyterian Church, Drum, Co Monaghan (H16KR60) for funeral service at 2pm. Followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard.
Family flowers only please donations if so desired, in lieu of flowers to Postal Bible School and to Drum Presbyterian Church, c/o George Hall Funeral Director or any family member.
