Des O'Rourke passed away on Wednesday, 17 th July 2024, at the Harley Street Clinic, London. Following a short respiratory illness, he passed peacefully surrounded by his immediate and extended family.
Predeceased by his parents Charlie & May, his sister Etta and his brother Paddy.
Dearly loved and sadly missed by his heartbroken wife Carmel and son Ronan, daughter-in-law Ciara, his granddaughter Fiadh, his brothers Ray & Noel, his sister Marie, the wider O’Rourke and Prior extended families, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at Smith's Funeral Home, High St. Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim, N41 TD62 this Wednesday evening (July 31st) from 5pm until 8pm.
Funeral Mass in St. Brigid's Church, Corraleehan, Ballinamore N41 X324 on Thursday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
