Catherine McMahon (nee Goodwin)
5 Carn Heights, Clones, Co. Monaghan (H23 PC59), formerly of Cooneen, Co. Fermanagh,
Wednesday, 21st August 2024, peacefully surrounded by her loving family, in the excellent care of the staff of Medical 2, Cavan General Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.
Catherine McMahon (nee Goodwin), predeceased by her husband Gerry and her parents; Eileen and John Goodwin
Beloved and much loved mother of Shane (Nicole), Roisin and Deirdre. Catherine will be sadly missed and remembered with love by daughters, son, daughter-in-law, cherished and adored granddaughter Clodagh, sisters; Geraldine and Bridget, brothers; Sean, Jimmy, Kieran and Kevin, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, her faithful and loyal four legged friend Charlie, many friends and by all who knew and loved Catherine.
Catherine will be resting at the family home, 5 Carn Heights, Clones (H23 PC 59), Wednesday (21st) from 5pm to 9 pm and Thursday (22nd) from 2pm to 9pm, with removal on Friday (23rd) morning to Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones for 11.00am Mass. Burial aferwards in Mount St. Oliver's Cemetery, Clones. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Cavan Oncology Unit, c/o Martin's Funeral Directors, Newbliss or by donation box in the family home. Family time on Friday morning please.
