Bernard (Bennie) Hughes passed away on Wednesday, December 18th, unexpectedly at his residence.
Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Mary, brothers James, Patrick and Sean, sister Maura McCahey.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family, wife Anna, sons Brian and Gary, daughters in-law Laura and Caitlín, his two cherished grandaughters Aisling and Éilish, sister in-law Rita Morris, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Wards Funeral Home Ballybay (A75H585) tomorrow Friday afternoon from 4pm until 8pm. Funeral cortège will travel from his home (Lisaginny) on Saturday morning at 10:40am to arrive St Mary’s Church Clontibret for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, and house private by request please.
