Saturday 24th Feb 2024 peacefully at St James Hospital Dublin surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by siblings, Vincent, Una and Seamus and daughter Anne-Marie.

Beloved husband of Cora, and adored father to Kevin, Anne-Marie, Darren and Fergal.

Benny will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sons, and their families.
Much loved grandchildren, Sorcha, Oisin, Aogan, Caoilte, Grainne, Kyle and his sister Susan.
His daughters and son in law, sisters and brothers in law, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends, who all knew and loved Benny.

May Benny's gentle soul rest in peace.

Benny will repose at the family home, Laragh Ballybay, A75CP79
Saturday 24th – Strictly private, Family only at the request of family,
Sunday 25th – from 2pm to 4:30pm and 5pm to 8pm
Monday 26th – From 4:30pm to 8pm

Parking at Ballybay community college – where a shuttle bus will be available.

Funeral Mass to take place Tuesday 27th at 11am in St Patrick's Church Ballybay, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only please – donations if desired to Parkinsons association

If you cannot attend the funeral or sympathise with the family, you can now leave your messages of condolences and memories on this page.  We hold comments for moderation. Dearest Cora, Kevin, Darren, Fergal and extended family, my sincere, sincere condolences to each of you. I was shocked to hear this news. Benny was such a great and very sweet man. He was always very happy and would always pick your spirits up. Both you and Benny, even though you both were very busy you always found time to spend time with mammy and daddy. I will be forever grateful for you both for keeping our families together. As a child and adult, I have wonderful memories of Benny and you Cora, which I will treasure for a long time. Be proud of what a wonderful man he was and rest assure how much loved he was by everyone. A great and sincere man. May he rest in peace now, and he certainly will.
