The failure to remove litter in some parts of County Cavan has started attracting rats.
That's according to local woman Geraldine who says that despite numerous reports to Cavan County Council, a mound of litter has remained in her locality for months.
In the rural area near Cootehill where she lives, people are saying that they won't organise a community clean up until the council does something first.
